1905 Airplane

The Wright Brothers 1905 Airplane

Above we show a vital photo of the Wright Brothers Airplane. It was made in 1908.

The illustration documents The remodeled 1905 Wright machine, altered to allow the operator to assume a sitting position and to provide a seat for a passenger, on the launching track at Kill Devil Hills. This is apparently the only photograph of this machine taken by the Wright brothers in 1908.

We have compiled this collection of artwork mainly to serve as a vital educational resource. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
