Yakima Chief

A Yakima Indian Chief

Here for your enjoyment is an absorbing photograph of Mnainak, a Yakima Indian Chief. It was created in 1910 by Edward S. Curtis.

The photo illustrates a Portrait of the chief wearing War Bonnet, a buckskin shirt, a beaded loincloth, leggings, moccasins, and standing in striped cloth lodge. Drums can be seen hanging on a rope strung between lodge poles.
