Wishham Indian Girl

Wishham Indian Girl

Above we show a majestic photo of a Wishham Indian Girl. It was made in 1910 by Edward S. Curtis.

The illustration documents a Tlakluit woman, half-length portrait, facing front, wearing a heavily beaded buckskin dress, several necklaces, beads, shells, dentalium-shell nose ornament and a headdress of beads and hollow-centered Chinese coins.

We have compiled this collection of artwork mainly to serve as a vital educational resource. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
