Here for your consideration is an old picture of Indian Storytelling. It was created in 1906 by Edward S. Curtis.

The photograph presents Group of Apache men, two on horseback, others seated, listening and looking on as one member of the party is marking the ground with a stick. Storytelling was an important tradition of the Native American Indians.
