Here for your browsing pleasure is a grand photo of a Saguaro Cactus Harvest. It was made in 1907 by Edward S. Curtis.

The photo documents Two Pima women harvesting "hasen", the sweet, pear-sized fruit from the giant Saguaro cactus, which may be eaten fresh or dried, and could also be used to make syrup or wine.

We have compiled this collection of photos mainly to serve as a vital educational resource. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
