Jicarilla Cowboy

Jicarilla Cowboy

Here for your perusal is an original photograph of a Jicarilla Cowboy. It was created in 1905 by Edward S. Curtis.

The photograph presents a Half-length portrait of a Jicarilla man wearing traditional Indian clothing, and a Cowboy hat. It is interesting to note that he is wearing a feather in his hat, perhaps as an indication of heroic acts in his past.

We have compiled this collection of photographs mainly to serve as a valuable educational resource. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
