Indians on Horses In Front of Tipi

Indians on Horses In Front of Tipi

Here for your consideration is an artistic picture of a Crow Winter Camp. It was created in 1908 by Edward S. Curtis.

The picture presents Two Crow (Apsaroke) people on horseback outside a tipi. They are in a thicket of trees, with snow covering the entire area. It looks very cold as the Indians are really bundled up.

We have created this collection of illustrations primarily to serve as a valuable educational tool. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
