Indian Costume

Above we show a remarkable photo of Nayenezgani, a Navajo Indian. It was made in 1904 by Edward S. Curtis.

The illustration documents an authentic Navajo Ceremonial Costume. The Indian is wearing dark leather mask, fur ruff, cloth girdle, silver concho belt and necklaces.

We have compiled this collection of artwork mainly to serve as a vital educational resource. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
