Indians Dancing

Here for your perusal is an original photograph of Indians Dancing to Restore Eclipsed Moon. It was created in 1914 by Edward S. Curtis.

The photograph illustrates Several Kwakiutl people dancing in a circle around a smoking fire, in an effort to cause a sky creature, which they believe swallowed the moon, to sneeze thereby disgorging it.
