Portrait of Young Indian Girl

Portrait of Young Indian Girl

Here we present an historic image of Yuls-Huls-Walking, a young Indian Girl. It was taken in 1906 by Edward S. Curtis.

The image shows Yuls-Huls-Walking, half-length portrait, facing front, wearing several necklaces and a Christian medallion. This is a nice image showing traditional Indian dress at the turn of the century.

We have created this collection of images primarily to serve as an easy to access educational tool. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
