Apache Brave

Apache Brave

Here for your consideration is an old picture of De Gizzeh-Rolling, an Apache Brave. It was created in 1906 by Edward S. Curtis.

The photograph presents a stunning image of a man who had lived life as a wild Indian, and now must live on the Reservation. There is a look of pride in the Man's eye, perhaps from victories won long ago.

We have created this collection of illustrations primarily to serve as a valuable educational tool. Contact curator@old-picture.com.
