Here we present an old picture of Ismail Pacha ordering his chibouque. It was made between 1855 and 1865 by Fenton, Roger, 1819-1869.

The photograph documents Ismail Pacha (Hungarian general Kmety), full-length portrait, seated on gabion, facing front; three soldiers stand behind him, as a servant hands him his pipe.
