Here for your consideration is an unusual picture of Men of the 77th Regiment in winter costume. It was created between 1855 and 1865 by Fenton, Roger, 1819-1869.

The illustration shows Four men of the 77th (The East Middlesex) Regiment of Foot standing and seated on the ground, holding rifles, wearing heavy winter clothing.
