Above we show an historic picture of Balaklava, from Guard's Hill in the Crimean War. It was made between 1855 and 1865 by Fenton, Roger, 1819-1869.

The photo illustrates View of Balaklava with conical tent encampments, ships in the harbor, and ruins of castle on a hill in the background.
