British Warships in Cossack Bay, Balaklava

 

Here for your consideration is a beautiful picture of Cossack Bay, Balaklava. It was created between 1855 and 1865 by Fenton, Roger, 1819-1869.

The image documents A building next to which is a pile of baskets and a holding pen with horses at the landing place on the cattle pier with several ships at dock in Balaklava harbor, also view of bell tents at water's edge and the landscape of the hills in the background.
