Here for your enjoyment is an inspiring photograph of Rappahannock Station, Virginia Canvas pontoon boat, 50th New York Engineers. It was made in 1864 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The photo illustrates main eastern theater of the war, winter quarters at Brandy Station, December 1863-April 1864.
