Jericho Mills, Virginia Party of the 50th New York Engineers

 

Here for your consideration is an aesthetic picture of Jericho Mills, Virginia Party of the 50th New York Engineers building a road on the south bank of the North Anna, with a general headquarters wagon train crossing the pontoon bridge. It was created in 1864 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The photograph presents main eastern theater of war, Grant's Wilderness Campaign, May-June 1864.
