Here we present an historic image of Poplar Grove, Virginia Log church built by the 50th New York Engineers, with the engineer insignia above the door. It was taken in 1865 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The image shows Photograph from the main eastern theater of war, the siege of Petersburg, June 1864-April 1865.
