Here for your enjoyment is an absorbing photograph of Bermuda Hundred, Virginia; African-American teamsters near the signal tower. It was created in 1864.
The photo illustrates Photograph from the main eastern theater of the war, the Army of the James, June 1864-April 1865. Shows group of seven "contrabands" dressed in old Union uniforms standing in front of a wagon and shack.
