Dead Soldier from the Battle of Spotsylvania

 

Here for your consideration is a sorrowful picture of Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia,vicinity. Body of another Confederate soldier near Mrs. Alsop's house. It was created in 1864 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The picture presents the main eastern theater of war, Grant's Wilderness Campaign, May-June 1864.
