Here we present an historic image of Yorktown, Virginia,vicinity. Duc de Chartres, Comte de Paris, Prince de Joinville, and friends playing dominoes at a mess table, Camp Winfield Scott. It was taken in 1862 by Gibson, James F., b. 1828.

The image shows Photograph from the main eastern theater of war, the Peninsular Campaign, May-August 1862.
