Burial of Civil War Soldier

 

Here for your enjoyment is an absorbing photograph of Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia,vicinity. Burial of soldier by Mrs. Alsop's house, near which Ewell's Corps attacked the Federal right on May 19, 1864. It was created in 1864 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The photo illustrates main eastern theater of war, Grant's Wilderness Campaign, May-June 1864.
