It was taken in 1862 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.The image shows Federal Navy, and seaborne expeditions against the Atlantic Coast of the Confederacy -- specifically of Fort Pulaski, Ga., April 1862.We have created this collection of images primarily to serve as an easy to access educational tool.
