You are looking at an artistic picture of Morris Island, S.C. Federal mortars aimed at Fort Sumter, with crews. It was created in 1865 by Cooley, Sam A. (Samuel A.).

The picture presents the Federal Navy, and seaborne expeditions against the Atlantic Coast of the Confederacy, specifically of Charleston, S.C., 1863-1865.
