Here we present a dramatic image of Virginia. Locomotive on the Orange & Alexandria Railroad. It was taken in 1862 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The image shows main eastern theater of the war, Bull Run, 2nd Battle of, Va., 1862, July-August 1862.
