Here for your consideration is an interesting photograph of the Rocking chair used by President Lincoln in Ford's Theater. It was the chair he was sitting in as he was shot. It was made in 1865.

The photo illustrates Washington, 1862-1865, the assassination of President Lincoln, April-July 1865.
