Here we present an historic image of James River, Virginia U.S.S. Casco, light-draft monitor. It was taken between 1860 and 1865.

The image shows Federal Navy, and seaborne expeditions against the Atlantic Coast of the Confederacy -- the Federal Navy, 1861-1865.
