Here for your consideration is an old picture of Hilton Head, S.C. Dock built by Federal troops. It was created in 1862 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.

The photograph presents the Federal Navy, and seaborne expeditions against the Atlantic Coast of the Confederacy, specifically of Port Royal, S.C., 1861-1862.
