Here we present an historic image of Beaufort, S.C. General Isaac I. Stevens on same porch. It was taken in 1862 by O'Sullivan, Timothy H., 1840-1882.The image shows the Federal Navy, and seaborne expeditions against the Atlantic Coast of the Confederacy, specifically of Port Royal, S.C., 1861-1862.We have created this collection of images primarily to serve as an easy to access educational tool.
