Here for your enjoyment is an intriguing photo ofGeneral Charles S. Farnsworth. It was taken between 1905 and 1945 by Harris & Ewing.

The photograph illustrates Farnsworth, who was commander of the 37th Infantry Division of the Ohio National Guard in 1918. In World War I he was in France, where he participated in the Battle of Saint-Mihiel and the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.
