Here for your perusal is a moving photograph of Henry Lewis Stimson. He had fought in the Civil War for the Confederacy, and went on to become the US Secretary of War. It was taken in about 1911.

The illustration documents Jacob M. Dickinson (Right) and Henry Lewis Stimson (Left) Both men were Secretary of War under Taft.
