Black, Hugo L. Senator

 

Here we present an original photo of Black, Hugo L. Senator. It was created between 1905 and 1945 by Harris & Ewing.

The photograph illustrates Black, who was a politician and jurist. A member of the Democratic Party, Black represented the Alabama in the Senate from 1927 to 1937, and served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court from 1937 to 1971.
